This incredible Australian Banyan Tree (Ficus macrophylla), planted in California in the late 1800s, is truly one of the most magnificent trees I’ve ever seen. Its sprawling, majestic roots stretch far across the earth, weaving a mesmerizing tapestry of life. How grateful I was to find this root, perfectly shaped for sitting, with just enough space for my harp to rest. These moments were incredible — the way the leaves danced above in the gentle breeze, crafting their own melody, while the sunlight cascaded along the roots and over my harp. These gifts of life, so pure and universal, transcend language and culture. I’m so grateful to share these moments with you. All of the music is improvised from a few musical ideas, played intuitively, flowing with the rhythm of this peaceful space.
