I work with harpists at all stages, from beginners to those deepening improvisation and composition, drawing from hands-on performance experience and formal training in harp performance and composition at Baldwin Wallace Conservatory and the California Institute of the Arts.

Lessons are hosted online via Zoom, allowing students from anywhere to learn comfortably from home.

You’ll need a harp, a stable internet connection, and a device with a camera and microphone (a laptop or tablet works best). Headphones are optional but can be helpful.

Yes. Ergonomic playing and injury prevention are very important to me. I’ve studied a range of harp techniques and incorporate elements of the Salzedo style into my teaching, with an emphasis on healthy alignment, efficient movement, and long-term sustainability at the harp.

I teach a wide range of styles, from classical, folk, and sacred music to popular tunes, Celtic, and improvisational styles, tailoring lessons to your interests and goals.

Yes. I support students in preparing to play in a variety of settings, including weddings and events, nursing homes, churches, meditation and healing spaces, ensemble playing, and concert environments. We work on repertoire, confidence, and practical skills for sharing music in different spaces.

I primarily work with nylon or gut-strung harps, including lap harps, lever harps, and pedal harps. That said, I’m happy to support harpists on other types of harps, especially those interested in improvisation, composition, or exploring different musical styles.

Absolutely. I support harpists who want to arrange music, compose original pieces, or develop improvisation skills. This can be incorporated into lessons at any level and adapted to your musical interests and style.
